MedGrocer, a digitally-enabled corporate healthcare solutions, and patient program, continues to empower our customers to get their medicines, vaccines, and teleconsultations conveniently, cost-effectively, and intelligently. By attending to customers' needs and inquiries for medicines, MedGrocer has been widely known to multiple companies and individuals as deemed effective with their services.
Before I jumped on my design process, I examined the MedGrocer’s whole website: from Homepage to Ordering page to Checkout page. After that, I created an evaluation checklist in which I highlighted the elements that I found faulty and I created a hypothesis regarding that evaluation. Then, I proceeded to finding participants that I could interview along the process.
As I conducted my hypothesis together with the interview with the user, I found out the commonalities in the pain points between me and the user. There are a few key points that require attention as the users are having some struggles to understand some of the features present in the website. I have made a whole website evaluation and provided explanation for the improvements needed to be done across the pages.
I believe all the website evaluations require different approach when it comes to attending to users’ needs. With this, I decided to redesign the key features as needed. I’ve laid out all the findings from the checklist up until the user interview. The final solution is a lot better than the previous design. Using Rating Scale method as part of the Usability Test, I got the score of 8/10 from the user whom I conducted interview with.
User Story
Priority #8 - As a user, I want to be able to see what is MedGrocer about so that I can make sure if the page can handle my medicinal needs and fulfill my health maintenance.
User Story
Priority #8 - As a person with health needs, I want a simple way of ordering medicines so that I can attend to my health needs by being at home and not jeopardize my health by going outside.
User Story
Priority #8 - As a person with health needs, I want to simply put my information on checkout so that I can be assured that my orders will be completed given my provided details.
I managed to showcase Consolidated Brand Identity for the MedGrocer and alleviate pain points shown in their website. For the Usability Test, with the score of 8, I believe that the redesign is plausible once turned over to the developers. I used my empathy skill to fully showcase the behavioral patterns of the users and how it connects to the website.
